Wuchang Shipyard
 Wuchang
Shipyard, founded in 1934, is well located along side
the Yangtzi River in Wuhan City. It is one of the key
enterprises under China Shipbuilding Industry Corp. (CSIC)
as well as a biggest modernized integrated enterprise
in inland China.
There are more than 8000 employees in total, among them
more than 2000 are engineering and technical managerial
personnel. At the same time, the shipyard owns a backbone
team of experienced, skilled and well-trained workers.
In recent five years, its gross industrial output value
and sales income have kept double-digit increasement,
and both broke through RMB 3.6 billion Yuan in 2006.
 As
a modernized large shipyard, it has always taken full
advantage of its technology & management as well as
the advanced facilities and built for its customers many
different kinds of high-tech & high-value-added engineering
ships and scientific research vessels, etc. The Shipyard
has built and delivered more than 1,000 sets of various
kinds of ships to domestic & overseas customers. In
recent decade, the Shipyard has dedicated itself to building
offshore engineering vessels and delivered more than thirty
vessels of anchor handling/tug/supply vessels, platform
supply vessels and standby ships etc. Meanwhile it has
also extended its business to some other fields and has
become a famous manufacturer in aerospace launching base,
petrochemical processing equipment, metallurgical equipment,
hydroelectricity engineering and bridge steel structures,
etc.
 The
shipyard has established trade relations with customers
from such countries and regions as UK, Greece, USA, Norway,
Germany and Hong Kong in shipbuilding and machinery products
exporting. The Shipyard would like to, based on equality

serve wholeheartedly its customers from both home and
abroad.
