Changsha Sanchaji Xiang River Bridge is a key project of Changsha’s Second Ring Road spanning the Xiang River. The main bridge steel box girder is 732 metres long and 35 metres wide; there are wind fairings at two sides; the girder at the bridge centreline is 3.6 metres high; 1-box and 5-cell enclosed sections are adopted. It was awarded with “Lu Ban Prize” for architecture in China in 2007.
