Hangzhou Fuxing Bridge is both the major project of Zhejiang Province and that of Hangzhou, and is a landmark of Hangzhou. Being a steel tube arch bridge combining through tied arch and half-through arch, it is 1,376 metres long and 26.4 metres wide; the double deck of the main bridge is supported by 9 small arches and 2 large arches. The superstructure of the main bridge adopts a combination of deck arch bridge and through tied arch bridge with a calculated span of 25 metres, and a combination of half-through arch bridge and through tied arch bridge with a span of 190 metres. It was awarded with “Lu Ban Prize” for architecture in China in 2005.
