The 36,000-metre Hangzhou Bay Bridge was the longest sea-crossing bridge in the world, which was designed, fabricated and managed by China’s companies. It begins from Zhengjiadai in Jiaxing’s Haiyan in the north, spans Hangzhou Bay and ends at Shuiluwan, Cixi, Ningbo. It was awarded with “Lu Ban Prize” for architecture in China in 2011.
