Yachi River Bridge, a critical project for the Quiyang-Qianxi Motorway, is the steel truss cable stayed bridge with the second longest span in the world and the longest span in China. The bridge is 1,461 metres long. It is a 2-pylon, 2-plane steel truss cable stayed bridge with its span being 800 metres. It adopts a combined system of N-shaped truss and orthotropic deck; it has 3,364 truss members (excluding auxiliary members), and 50 three-dimensional assemblies from truss segments; the works total over 17,000 tons. The project was given Gustav Lindenthal Medal in 2018.
