Jingyue Yangtze River Bridge is a key transport construction project under Hubei’s “Eleventh Five-Year” Plan. It is a 2-pylon steel box girder cable stayed bridge, 4,302.5 metres long and 33.5 metres wide, with its main span being 816 metres. The bridge has 6 lanes in each direction; the main bridge is designed to be a super large span, asymmetric hybrid girder cable stayed bridge, and is a high-pylon & low-pylon cable stayed bridge with the longest span in the world. It was awarded with “Lu Ban Prize” for architecture in China in 2017.
