The main bridge of Yinchuan Binhe Yellow River Bridge is a 3-pylon, 4-span and 2-cable reinforced concrete composite girder, self-anchored suspension bridge; it has 6 main pylons (the highest of them is 96 metres); the total length of the bridge is 4,272 metres. It adopts one-piece deck structure. It is the first 3-pylon composite girder, self-anchored suspension bridge in China, the largest reinforced concrete composite bridge in the Yellow River basin, and also the largest individual project in Yinchuan, thus being reputed to be “No. 1 Bridge across the Yellow River”.
