Wuhan International Conference & Exhibition Center, once Wuhan Exhibition Hall, is the largest, modern and professional international conference and exhibition center in central China. The construction of the center commenced on December 17, 1999, and lasted for 20 months, and the center was completed and put into operation in August 2001. The total floor area of Wuhan International Conference & Exhibition Center is 127,000 square meters. The ten major exhibition halls, covering an area of 50,000 square meters, can accommodate 2,800 international standard booths. The conference hall zone has an area of 15,000 square meters, and 40 rooms in different styles and sizes, including conference halls, multi-functional halls, banquet halls, auditoriums, VIP halls, and press conference centers. The center ranks first among the conference and exhibition venues in China, is Wuhan’s center for political, economic, cultural, technological, commercial and trade activities and information exchange, and the best place for holding domestic or international exhibitions, conferences, and activities and receiving foreign guests.
